As far as non-league football goes this is a big club, even if they are the phoenix club that rose from the ashes of the old debt-ridden Telford United that folded just after the turn of the Millennium.

Before the old club went to the wall they rebuilt their old Bucks Head stadium on the same site and the new "New Bucks Head" is one of the best grounds Gloucester City have ever played a league fixture at.

Meetings between the two clubs have been few and far between and considering the gulf in size the results are reasonably even.

The 2009/10 Blue Square North campaign saw the spoils shared with either team recording a 1-0 win at each others ground. The Tigers' arch nemesis Matt Nolan came off the bench to net for Telford while Jack Harris' goal was enough to see City win the return leg in Telford.

The following season saw a rampant Telford, now under new manager Andy Sinton record a 0-2 win with City doing well to keep it to two!
