Sion Spence - Midfielder

D.O.B. - 02/10/2000

Debut : Darlington (A) - 06/10/22
Last Game : Brackley Town (A) - 03/05/23

2nd Debut :
Last Game :

Attacking midfielder signed for a second spell with the club in June 2025.

Sion originally signed under the management of Lee Mansell in the summer of 2022 after a season with Bristol Rovers.

Welshman Sion represented his country at U16, U19 and U21 levels and impressed in his season with the club scoring against Peterborough Sports before disappearing for half a season with an injury.

On his return he bagged a late winner at Southport before scoring a hat trick away at AFC Telford United, however his most memorable strike was the late, late equaliser at Brackley in the playoffs.

With the mass exodus of players following Steve King's decision not to go part time with the club it looked as though Sion might be the only outfield player to stay however every time he was due to sign there was an excuse for him not turning up and eventually signed for Kings Lynn Town instead.

His stay in Norfolk was brief and he faced his former club in the 1-1 draw at the Walks where he was substituted. Eventually he rejoined former manager King on the south coast at Havant & Waterlooville and followed the diminutive clothes horse to Hednesford Town where he played last season.

Again he missed a chunk of his time there through injury but hopefully that'll be behind him and we look forward to a successful campaign in the Southern League Premier South.
