Young midfielder signed on loan from Newport County in September 2016. He made five appearances, three in the National League North and two FA Cup games against Hemel Hempstead Town. He scored his only goal in his last game away at FC United of Manchester.
Upon his return to his parent club he became a fixture in the first team until the got some money from a cup run and were able to replace him with better options and after a short spell in north of the border with Falkirk his journey into non-league football began.
Over the best part of the past decade Chepstow based Tom has featured for Hereford, Kiddy and Chippenham Town. He played for the Bulls in the 1-2 defeat at Edgar Street in January 2022 and then in the return fixture at Meadow Park in April; City winning thanks to a Jordan Thompson goal.
Tom had an injury hit season with Kidderminster Harriers and almost scored when he came in as a late sub in our 1-0 win at Aggborough before a three year spell at Chippenham Town. He scored the last minute winner for the Bluebirds as the knocked City out of the FA Cup in September 2025.
