Will Morford - Striker

Debut : Bedford Town (A) - October 13th 2007
Last Game :

Will is a centre forward who hails from East Anglia but made a name for himself by finding the net regularly playing for Slimbridge in the Hellenic League whilst also featuring regularly for Hartpury College and the England students team.

He signed for the Tigers in October 2007 and made his debut as a first half substitute in the frustrating 0-2 defeat at the New Eyrie against Bedford Town.

Will's first goal for the club came from a goalmouth scramble in the 3-3 FA Trophy draw at home to Hillingdon Borough and with that his confidence grew and he started to form a prolific partnership with Jack Pitcher that grew as the season progressed.

Towards the end of the season his College commitments began to take their toll and he was rested more often than his talent deserved but he still went on to net twelve goals from twenty-five starts, the best of which being a looping header at Hitchin and a powerful drive into the top corner at home to Bromsgrove Rovers.

After spending the summer back home on his family farm Will returned to Gloucester in October 2008 to renew his partnership with Pitcher and give defenders more sleepless nights!
