Debut : Bromsgrove Rovers (A) - 24/04/01 Last Game :
Tom Webb is the clubs all-time leading appearance maker having passed the record of previous holder Stan Myers in November 2010.
Having been on the books of Luton Town as a schoolboy Tom impressed as part of the youth setup as City and along with Lee Smith and Gavin Rae was often promoted to the bench for the first team.
After making his debut away at Bromsgrove on April 21st 2001 as a substitute he was used mainly on the right wing but it wasn't until Chris Burns played him behind the front two that he really made his mark and scored a goal, in the FA Trophy win at Woking of all places.
After fending off interest from Stafford Rangers with the carrot of the option to train with Crewe Alexandra whilst he was at University Tom has remained loyal to City ever since.
He has a major impact on the team due to his seemingly endless energy in midfield and is conspicuous by his absence when he isn't in the starting XI. A naturally fit player, Tom can look back with pride at the 2004/05 campaign where he played in every minute of every game.
Sometimes his endeavour can boil over and down the years he has seen red on three occasions, including once at home to Northwich Victoria by a female referee!
Tom will admit that he could do more in front of goal and when he does score his goals tend to be more spectacular than most with stunning strikes at Southport, Chippenham, Stourbridge and at the New Lawn against Halesowen among his best.
Clubs: Luton Town, Gloucester City, Viney St Swithens (loan), Highworth Town (loan), Yate Town (loan)
