Steve Mardenborough - Midfielder

Debut : Atherstone United (A) - 23/03/96
Last Game : Kings Lynn (H) - 31/08/96

Journeyman midfielder who was one of Leroy Rosenior's first signings in March 1996.

In his short time at City he will be remebered for not only his snappy dress sense including an all-white leisure suit but also his scoring of the opening goal in the 2-1 home win against Rushden & Diamonds which gave us this wonderful Pink 'Un cover photo.

As a youngster at Wolves he only played a handful of games but is famous for scoring the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over the then invincible Liverpool at Anfield.
