Lee was a 37 year old ex-Bristol Rovers teammate of City manager David Mehew who signed as short term cover for injured winger Jake Harris in August 2010.
Archer almost marked his debut with a goal with his first touch when his free kick from twenty-five yards narrowly missed the top corner and went on to play three times for City.
