Kane was a part of the Merthyr Town team that won the Southern League title last season. Kane scored within eight minutes of his debut away at Uxbridge converting a low cross from King Baidoo. His spell at the club was short and successful with him netting at almost a goal a game, finishing the season with twenty goals in twenty-seven appearances.
