Getting to the Corinium Stadium
This is a quick and easy guide for fans, both City and our guests from the north to finding your way to our temporary home at Cirencester Town's Corinium Stadium.
By Car
The recently built Cirencester Arena is situated alongside the Fosse Way on the edge of the Cotswold town and has easy links with the A417 dual carridgeway that bypasses the town. If travelling by car leave the M5 at Junction 11a and follow signs for Cirencester onto the Brockworth Bypass and up Crickley Hill. At the Air Balloon roundabout double back on yourself as you climb the Cotswold escarpment giving wonderful views of the City of Gloucester on the right.
The A417 narrows to a single carridgeway as it bypasses Birdlip before heading down through Nettleton Bottom, an accident blackspot so be careful especially if the road is wet. At the end of this short stretch rejoin the dual carridgeway and enjoy a fast drive for the next twelve miles through the countryside. Ignore the first exit for Cirencester but take the second, signposted Fairford and Lechlade.
At the roundabout take the second exit out of Ciren and then after two hundred yards turn right at the traffic lights. This is the Fosse Way, follow it down to the junction with the Fairford road and turn right back towards Ciren, over the A417 bridge and then left into Kingshill Lane. The Corinium Stadium is quarter of a mile on the right.

By Train
Kemble is the closest railway station although that is some distance to the south west of Cirencester itself and would need a taxi ride to the Corinium. The station is served solely by First Great Western and enjoys direct services by HST from London Paddington to Gloucester and Cheltenham Spa where you can connect with services from the north.

Accomodation
Cirencester is in the heart of the Cotswolds, which is a beautiful part of the country offering a variety of Hotels, B&B's as well as camping and caravanning sites. If Ciren is too quiet then Gloucester also has a number of hotels along with a decent nightlife and a number of tourist attractions to make a weekend of your visit to the Corinium.
What to do?
If you want to make a weekend of your visit to the Corinium and you're staying in Gloucester then a visit to the Cathedral is recommended. If you like to shop then the new Quays designer outlet mall and Gloucester Docks are well worth a visit. We also have a rugby team here too if that floats your boat!
